Default 7" rim, will 235s or 245s fit properly??

Ive got a 17x7 on a car and the factory size specifies 215/45 and ive got 225/45 now, wondering if i can push up to 245/40 without it all bulging out? if not would 235 be safe?

I'm guessing it's on your Scion. 245/40 would fit on the rim but would probably not clear the fenders on the car.
