Question Rear end installation leaving E-light on?

Well I had another 10bolt installed by my dad's mechanic since my old rear was all mest up on my 02 T/A. The rear sounds better and runs great I just have a little problem where the E-brake light turns on after you start to drive it and it just stays on. I'm wondering is it just a sensor a little loose that I can plug in and fix myself or do I have to take the car back to the mechanic so can put it in right? .. thanks

Check the sensor plugs at the rear wheels to make sure they are in correctly. Also, check to be sure the cable ends are installed correctly.
