Default Coolant

I am putting in a 160 thermostat.I am reading the directions and it says to unscrew the pressure side bleed screw so it doesnt splash on the distributer. The coolant level will drop when screw is open all the way. So will all the coolant in the radiator be lost then?

I pick up the dex-cool 50-50 blend for my car is that right?

Do i need to use anything gasket sealer on the thermosat housing to make it seal?
I am asking because I dont want to do it wrong at all. thanks

I thought that the hypertechs would not work for two different cars, even same year, because they read the VIN...

i think they are only year specific. if you remove the program on one you can put it on another in the same year model.
