Wheel stud question for pro stars.

Default Wheel stud question for pro stars.

OK so I searched and couldnt find my answer that I need. I have 15x3.5 for the front and 15x10 for the rear with the 7 1/2" back spacing. I understand that the front clear the caliper with a 5/16" spacer wich I already have, and that I need a longer set of front wheel studs. What im trying to accomplish is that I dont need to use an open style lug nut for when I have my c6 wheels on. So I figure if I get a set of studs that are exactly 5/16" longer then stock and run the 5/16" spacer I can use the nice lugnuts that are on there now with them. And then I would also like to do the same for the rear except not run the spacer with the prostars just with the C6 wheels so they match the front. So does anyone know wich set of studs are exactly 5/16" longer then stock? Also do I need to pull the axles on the rear to change my studs? And I already thought about getting longer ones and cutting them to the length I need but would much rather buy them like that if at all possible. If not possible I would just cut them.

not trying to be a dick in any way but please go back and edit your post to say 5/16" spacers instead of 5 1/16" spacers. thats 5 inches and one sixteenth. that threw me way off and am sure it will throw the next person off

I just orderd 4 sets of the 2 1/2" ARP's from Speed inc. I figure I'll just cut them down. Does anyone know if I need to pull the axles on the rear to change them out? Thanks.

i didnt have to pull my axles. on the back side of the hub, a small bolt (8 or 10mm i think) holds the wheel speed sensor in. take out the sensor and you should be able to knock your studs out thru that hole. just hit the stock studs on the face with a hammer and they'll turn loose (they're just pressed in). i held an extendable magnet on the head of the stud from the back side so it wouldnt fall down in the hub.
