i ran 18s for a year and a half, but decided i wanted 17's again. i like 17's on our cars, with a wider rim in the back.
cause i was running 18x10s at 4 corners and got tired of that look

Z06's look best in 18's. They look to small in 17's.

i say stick with the 17's....they look good, and your wallet will thank you for it when it comes time to replace tires....which, on a street racing/track car will be sooner than you think.....

If you're going to be racing, I'd say stick with 17's. They're lighter and tires are cheaper.

I'd also say pick a different wheel, I'm not a fan of C5 Z06's. If these are going on a Camaro eventually, why not go with ZR1's? IMO they look 100x better than Z06's.

No way, C5 Z06's are way better looking than ZR1's!

To the OP, I am considering 18" C5 Z06's also.

They're butt ugly, IMO.

But hey, to each his own.

I do like 5 spokes like my stock WS6 wheels but I think the ZR1 spokes are too thin. You would probably be in the minority on here though saying they are ugly because many people have them. Like you said, to each his own.

if i were gonna go with some vette wheels, i'd likely choose the chrome Y2K's.....love those thin 5-spokes....in fact, i almost did go with them, but decided against it for some more expensive ones (and IMO, better-looking).

if you got the extra money to spend on the more expensive rubber, DEFINATLY go 18 all the way around.

im starting to dig the way front17s and back18s look though, i suppose thats a good compromise
