Default 2008 G8 (888 edition) Dyno numbers inside

Today through one of our numerous partners within the industry we were able to get our hands on one of these great new Pontiac G8's. The car was drawing crouds even here at our shop, so it would be easy to imagine the response you would get driving one on the street. This particular car is an automatic, and the exhaust / intake systems appear to be very restictive from the factory.

First pull right off the street.

It's pretty obvious the car would benefit from a good tune (Notice the lack of smoothness in the pull). I'd expect a huge gain from a proper intake/exhaust/tune.

do they offer a 6 speed? I wonder how soon aftermarket long tubes and intakes will come out or are they already? Is there an ls2 in there?

L76 is the motor in it, gxp will have the 6spd and ls3

the car is tuned for 87 octane so throwing some premium and a tune would do wonders

Nice an ls3. I wonder how good the ls3 intake is and how much can be picked up with the new fast ls3 intake. I sure hope the ls3 intake is better than the ls2 which was not very good at all.
