Default CA F-Bodys kicked asside by positive displacement SC Manufacturers.

In the SMOG SLAYER badlands of California, Not 1 "Positive displacement SC" maker (like Maggie, or Whipple, or Keene Bell) Has stepped up to get their systems approved!
(approval for sc's is a slam dunk with C.A.R.B.).
By phone Magnacharger told me there wasn't enough market $$ with the F-Bodys???
A Positive displacement SC is the only power mod that can make a 350ci engine feel like a 700ci engine when you hit it from a dead stop or below 2000rpm. The LS1 F-body market here in CA is huge. And to stay legal we are stuck with those Centrifugal wheezers that need 3000rpm just to let you know their home.
CAFE is going to run the LSX's out of town eventually [that is, in any machine that has a higher volume sales potential than a vet]. The LS1 is the market and will remain so for steet machines for a long time to come. Let Maggie, Whipple, and Keene Bell know where there business really is coming from and will come from for a long time.

They don't want to pay the extortionists at C.A.R.B. can't say I blame them, their sole purpose is to generate revenue. Luckily the EPA has caught on and denied their special waiver and will hopefully wipe them out.

1 theres only 1 company that makes a PD kit and thats LM speed and they utilize a maggie mp112 s/c, reason why no other company hasnt stepped up to the ball game is not because of cali SMOG, its because of the limited space between the engine and the COWL, alot of cutting would have to be done to get it to fit. and the companies are affraid that people would not go for the chopping up of the cars hense why they dont make a kit for the f-body. no company wants to attempt it as theirs limited room in the f-body. its not because of CARB, get the LMSpeed maggie kit a good tune and you'll pass SMOG, just have the guys over look visual.

Why would a company spend the HUUUUUUUGEEEEE money to have a kit approved by the CARB for a car that has been discontinued for over 5 years?????? Get it?

The ATI ProCharger P-1SC complete kit that includes the tune is 50 state carb legal, and the boost comes in much sooner than you would expect. Our '95 Formula may squeak into the 10's this year with a P-1SC on an internally bone stock and never opened up LT1. You can check it out here. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...tCar.php?car=7 Bob
