Tranny not shifting again!

Tranny not shifting again! I have a 98 TA with the stock 4l60E but this will be the 4th time i will have to drop the tranny because it wont shift. I dont have much to the car, just some hooker headers, some emissions work and a small pcm tune. It always goes out on third gear it just shifts into 1st and 2nd then when third comes around it just revess the hell out it. I need help and i need to get this car running back on the road please help anyone!!!!

Well by dropping the tranny i mean dropping it all down not just the pan i have had to rebuild it 4 times already. I am looking to get some information about a 4l80E. what is yall's opinion?

My built 4l60e was being stupid and wouldnt make the 2-3 shift on the spray tryed numerous things. It could of probably been fixed but those trannies seem to always have that problem and they will probably need to get refreshed more then a 4l80e so I went with a 4l80e.
