Default Would Heat tape and Dot 4 brake fluid help shifting high rpms

Thinking about gettin aluminum tape and wrap it around master cylinder with using dot 4 brake fluid. Hope this helps shifting at high rpms. Someone said this helps on these fourms when not able to shift at high rpms. Response needed.

It's not really the master cylinder so much. It's the line that runs to the bellhousing past the headers. That's where you need to apply the heat tape. Better brake fluid will help too--just need to make sure it's compatible. These things will likely help but there can be other things that cause the same issues.

it might help, but looking at your signature it say 2000 Pontiac Trans AM.so I'm guessing you still have the outdated slave and master.are you pulling the braided line out? it wouldn't hurt to do the drill mod.it also says Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch how many miles on it?

it cant hurt that for sure. i use dot4 and i didnt have the master wraped at the time but i have a new clutch, master and slave so ill be wrapping them when i install them. i just bleed my clutch very often. like once a month. you could also go with dot 5.1. (nonsynthetic) but i didnt see paying for that stuff, i just bleed more often.

Time for a rebuild on the tranny. I have the same problem with the 2-3 & 3-4 shift @ WOT & 6800rpms.
