Default Question on the GM chevy black valve covers

Im talking about the GM chevy valve covers that are black and they say chevrolet in red. Do they fit even with the alternator on the passanger side coming back to far? If they dont fit, other than alt. reloc. bracket, what could I do? Thanks

Don't remember the link, but there's a thread about those exact ones and links to another thread that shows where to grind down the alternator.

You CAN grind down the valve covers but I don't like that idea personally.

Those valve covers are made by Proform and you do have to grind the alt. Small, 15 min. job.

I figured it would work with grinding the alternator. Does anyone know how well they do with really big RR's (biggest crane makes) like I have?
