Default Serious DRL Issue with taking in water

Guys I have a problem everytime it rains, I seem to blow a bulb in my Passenger side DRL socket. I replaced the socket and it will be fine for a few days and then the turn signal will quit. This happened on my 00TA and now on my 98TA. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this water problem. Hell I already replaced the housings as well.

this is a very common problem. have you put dielectric grease in the housing? that will stop the bulb from blowing.

to keep water out, get some clear RTV coat the seams where the lense and housing meet. to find the leaks, remove the housing and bulb... then submerge the lense into a small bowl of water.. you'll see the leak.

I have done that. I think I am just going to dielectrics grease in it for the second time and then silicone the housing like you said. the thing that pisses me off is that this is a brand new housing. I HATE THE SOCKET PLACEMENTS!
