Help with Clutch problem
OK so basically I have a 98 trans am. Today when driving my clutch pedal got softer and softer to the point where I could barley shift gears and when I did it grinned a little. What could this be?? Thank you in advance.

was the clutch pedal returning normally when you disengaged it, or was it staying close to the floor and taking its time to disengage? if it was stickin to the floor it could be your slave/clutch master cylinders

It just happened to me. I just reinstalled my trans after a rebuild. I was at a stop light and let the clutch out and it stalled. It began engaging when the cluch was right next to the floor. Now I can't drive it because there is no pressure. Before this it felt fine. It sounds like we have the same/similar problem. I assume it has something to do with the hydrallics.
I wouldn't be happy if I had to take out the transmission again.
