other then using assembly lube , is there any way to run oil around in the engine , as it would normally run when the engine is running ?
You can do it with a external pump connected to the oil galley.

I have an Accusump that hold 3 quarts of oil. It's great to pre-lube the engine before starting.
The one I use is a Weldon oil pump. It won't run more than about 15 minutes with pressure (gets hot), but it sends oil all through the engine in that time.

do youguys have picture or part #'s for this stuff ?
Mine is a Weldon 9200-A, it is used to pump diff fluid or trans oil to coolers in a road race car. I use it with a -6 to power steering adapter which is 14mm like our oil galley plugs, just put a -6 o-ring over the threads on the power steering adapter and screw it into the side of the block up by the pump.
