Default Extremely Notchy Tranny in the cold

Hi guys,

i have a 98 T/A and the tranny in this car seems to be exceptionally notchy in the cold weather.. moreso than other manual trannies i've had.

is this normal for this car? manual trannies that run ATF rather than gear oil are not supposed to be exceptionally notchy.

i haven't really driven the car much in the cold, and i could be imagining it, but after i put my Jet skip shift eliminator in, i seem to notice it more.. i think it's because i was paying closer attention to the shifter.

any suggestions?

do a oil change on the trans use mobile 1 full synthetic atf and also bleed the clutch if it is notchy in the good weather or if it is all black and nasty if its smooth when up to temp leave it.
