Default 4:10 gears crusing RPMs?

I am thinking about buying a 98 M6 TA (pacesetter longtubes, true duals, mild cam, 4:10 gears, smooth air bellow, lid) would like to know what the cruising RPMs would be at around 75mph...thanks

gear calculator

dude you're WAY off....74mph is 2000rpm assuming stock tire height. that's only 300rpm more than stock.

hence the popularity of those gears

I have them, and they are not bad at all on the highway under 80 or so. More than that, and the f-body drone gets annoying (yes the sound of our exhaust is not pleasent to listen too for 3+ hours at a time, flame if you wish). I would definately recommend these gears.

I have 4.10, but my trans is a Viper T56 with a .50 6th gear and using 275x40x17 tires, I am turning right around 2000 rpm at 75 and 1750 at 65.

Damn, I wish that were my case. I have 4.10s with an a4...I'm revving considerably higher than that.

the 94+ fbodies have the same 6th gear as your viper trans.

93 was the only year that i know of in which the 6th gear was different, and i think that was only on some of the transmissions.

my true duals are nice and quiet at highway speeds. even with the cam you don't have to speak up to carry on a conversation.

i ran 5hrs with straight pipes once...that sucked!! having the windows open made it BETTER...
