Default Time for a rebuild? 4L60E.

Alright I guess its that time. The story, I took her out this weekend for a spirited cruise since the weather was great and afterwards noticed it not wanting to shift until a high RPM (3,000+). I decided that was enough and took her home, the next day I went for a test drive and it wont shift out of 1st until 3,000 RPMs. It doesn't slip or anything, just the shift points are messed up. It finally threw a code late into the drive and I'm getting my scanner back today so hopefully Ill find out whats up. Just wanted to see what you all think could be wrong before I take it in to the shop. (car/tranny has 108,000 on the clock)

EDIT: I checked the fluid and it was at the normal HOT level after I let it idle and warm up properly...

Rev it up in neutral and drop it into drive a few times, that will clear up those issues

He was being sarcastic.. This will make your tranny grenade and probably your rear end if your tranny lasts long enough.. haha

Ok, I got the code, its P0751 - Shift Solenoid A CKT performance or stuck off.
From what Ive read this is a common code for aftermarket converters. Mine is stock and only will hang in 1st gear. Any ideas? I have it getting a diagnostic right now at a local tranny shop. Thanks
