supercharger on a 11:1?
hey guys just got a new 350 for the chevelle suppose to be runnin pretty hot forgot the specs sheet at the guys house when i got it but I no its runs 11:1 compression. Motor is pretty stacked only this stock is the bore and stroke, has vortec iron heads with alot of flow work and a pretty big cam(have to run a 3500+ stall) Builder expects it to put out over 600 at crank but if I want more can I slap on a 144 superchager and run it on regular 91? or would i have to switch to higher gas?

blower + iron heads + 11:1 + pump gas = bang bang ker-plunk ker-plunk ****!!!!
not to mention it sounds like you have a pretty radical cam you'd just be blowing fuel right out of your engine because of the amount of overlap that cam probably has

If your going to run a blower you need to drop your CR to b/t 8.5 - 9:1 That would be the MAX that I would run... Look for some good dish pistons. w/ that high of CR you'd be in the shop more than on the road fixin it!! my .02
