Default LT1 consistency

i bought a 94 z28 and i plan on bracket racing it...any tips on how to make the car as consistent as possible?? i bought a hypertech tuner with it as well....any certain shift points that work well and consistent??? all info will be greatly appreciated thanks

All I can think of is a really good shift kit in an automatic. Autos are very consistent. You also will want to drive it exactly the same every time.

if you are bracket racing you need some slicks for sure(26 inch)
dont touch the shift points and dont use the power tunning feature
turn the fan temp to 160 and raise the rev limiter
get a shift kit and a 3000 vigilante stall
get a cai and 373 gears
get some lt`s while you are at it as well and with that you should have a consistant 12 second car
