Default lets add to the lighting problem

gm is pretty good at lighting. lets forget about the fact that i haven't had front blinkers for 3 months and move on to the fact that my left headlight doesn't come on when i turn the lights on until there is a loud bang and then the light pops on . . . hrmmmmmm any ideas? this is a t/a for reference

The motor is either bad or the gear inside is getting striped.

The head lights go up by resistance in the switch. I think... So that could be a bad ground also

nah i know what bad gears sound like and this isn't it. the lights pop up fine but the headlight wont go on for anywhere b/t a couple seconds to a couple minutes. and their coming on is always accomodated with a loud bang as if 2 pieces of metal were caught on each other and let go but i've looked and cant see anything binding. this is pretty damn weird
