Default Cutting the drip tabs off of LT1 composite valve covers

Had to cut these drip tabs off of my LT1 composite valve covers since they were hitting my Comp Pro-mag roller rockers:

My question. Do I need to prep or seal the exposed composite areas with something like resin, super glue etc? Or just run them as is and not worry about oil doing something crazy to the exposed fibergalss?

I didn't seal mine when I removed them a couple of years ago and they are doing fine
