Anyone ever see a zr1 style wheel in a 16 inch diameter? Or know if you can put a non low profile tire on a 17 inch ZR1?? In my opinion both are retarded looking opitons, but this guy wants to buy my car and hates the rough ride of the low profile tires.

Yep: 1996 - 1997 SS Ragtops came with 16" ZR1 Wheels.

I have a set of 16" white ZR1's from a 30th vert that I use as drag wheels. You can get 16" silver ZR1's off ebay. I don't see how the 17's ride that bad. My car rode great stock with them. It even rides great now lowered with Koni's and 18" wheels. If the guy wants a cushy ride, tell him to go buy a Buick or Caddy!

Just let him know that the ride isn't going to be noticeable different with a 16 vs. 17 inch wheel in an f-body. If your car is an SS, the suspension was tuned with 17" wheels in mind so the best ride will be with the factory size wheels/tires.
