Put motor in Car today (pics)
Well finally got the motor together this weekend and got to put it in tonight... everything went really smooth... I took about 25minutes to get it in a the motor mounts bolted up.. Still have to stick the opti and EWP on but this is where we got

Be careful with those srps, mine let go on my 383 le2 on 200 jets. Made 8 passes or so b4 2 of them died on me, 11.3 AFR, pulling 8 degrees of timing also.

I have two sets of melted SRP's from previous motors a few years back. They will not hold up to a 200 shot very long. I learned the hard way. If I were you I would hit it with 175 shot and leave it alone. Anything over a 200 shot and you need to get better pistons....ie .....JE, Ross, Wiseco.

Well on motor 11.76 @ 116-117, 100 shot 11.1 @ 128, 150 10.89 @ 133 running out of gear (3.73 and 26" tire) and on 200s it went 10.57 @ 133, again out of gear. Only ran on the 150 twice, went right to the 200.

I see you decided to keep the valve covers. Without looking at all the numbers, I think your stall will be a perfect... ... ...medium, (I guess thats the word I am looking for) for your combo.

lol, dont let the guys get you down. but i'd take it from tony, he know's his stuff. But give SRP a call and double check, maybe they realized the issue and have fixed it throug manufacturing methods?
