GMHTP magazine will be covering the LTX Shootout! Thats right guys it is now official. John Ulaszek will be there covering the event. Here are his words from the LTX forum.
Hello all,
Just wanted you folks that are attending, and those that might be on the fence about coming out, that GM High-Tech Performance will be covering the LTX shootout.
As well as covering the event we will be picking out a couple of cars to feature in the magazine, and be looking for other cars to feature at later dates.
We are always looking for LTx cars to feature in GMHTP, so even if you aren't going to race, you need to come out and support your fellow LTx racers and if you have a clean ride, it just might get some magazine love.
Looking forward to a kick *** event.

Ellis why not? thought you were gearing up to be there! I sold mine so I have a good excuse...what gives?

Un-fortunately the economy and fuel prices and put it out of the realm of what I can get done.
I will be flying in for the event and bringing goodies for the racers
Btw a view of what it might look like.

I'm trying my damndest to get there myself. Had it all ready but a mishap on the dyno has me redoing some stuff. Hope to get it cranked again tomorrow night.
Fuel is gonna kill everyone though. AT 4 buck for diesel looks like about 500 for fuel alone. I'm still trying to make it baring any other messups. Still have dyno tune it, get it down the track, sort out the new suspension, and find a way to add about 200+ lbs.

DAMMIT!!! My Dana 60 better be here by then. I won't be racing but I would like to just take the car and put in my chance to get in the mag. ****, if I have to trailer the ****** there with a broken rear I will!!

Glad they are covering the event, too bad I had to pull out... I really wish I could have made it out, I hope it turns out to be a hit and we do it again next year...
But like stated above, I will at least get to read about it and see pics even though I won't bere there...

I would love to get the event but it is just to far away, I live in northern Canada. But I'm gonna love to read about lt cars in gmhtp since the mag is a huge part of my fix for new f body info besides this site. I know the ls1 is got a huge following but you guys that can get there, go so I can get reading about info I'm into on lt cars insted of scaning through ls1 articles.
