Default New project pictures

Posted some new pictures. Car is back on it's wheels and headers fab has begun, last move before we get ready to fire it up. We resolved all computer / wiring harness issues for FBW Throttle Body, 2006 computer use.

My little Miata (for computer purposes) will essentially "Think" it's a 6-speed GTO.

Old Hot Rodders never die, we just go faster!

I wonder how it would stack up against a Cobra.

I think the little thing is gonna scream. After my Formula is complete I want a project just like this one.

Looks good, but one quick question. Are you running a motor plate that attaches to the heads?

gtpvette, my jaw dropped at your beautiful GTM, SWEEET!

Yes, Billet motorplate on heads, (older construction photo) in conjunction with motor-mounts on the block, cross support picks up bell housing and tranny mount of course. No shock tower brace needed naturally! The entire engine & heads are used as a "stress-member" component in the build.

The Miata body is really all we used, the entire car is one-off fabricated, restructured underneath and uses a Ford 8.8 IRS Posi rear-end. Truth be known, it's pretty much a lot closer to really being a GTO than a Mazda or a Corvette.

Glad you like my C6 emblem, my license plate frame has a red bowtie and says Chevrolet too.

Thanks for your comments guys, you can see a few more pictures at
