I did my 02 camaro with no real noticable results, but I did a freinds 89 dodge power ram and that thing runs 100 times better after seafoam. Im a sceptic when it comes to pretty much everything but im a fan of seafoam.

I put it in the oil before an oil change and drive it for a day or so, not every change but a couple times a year. And at the same time in the gas tank. I haven't done the top end through the booster hose because my car only has 38,000 miles on it and I don't think it's needed yet. I'll do the full treatment at 50k.

I'd say it is more of a preventive maintenance type of procedure, if you wait 50k miles then you probably will feel a difference. If you regularly do the seafoam then you wont lose the power to begin with, therefore you wouldn't notice a gain when you did it.

Of course I love Seafoam, but it's not much for a horsepower mod Only in the most extreme cases will you feel an increase in horsepower. Your motor has to be very dirty to the extent it's costing you a noticeable amount of power, and it has to be pretty dirty to do that.
However, just because you don't feel a power increase doesn't mean there are no noticeable differences. All the times I've done it, the emissions from the tailpipes are reduced and the car drives/idles much smoother. I've never noticed a power difference, but there is always a substantial difference in idle and drive quality. Seafoam gets two thumbs up from me

I think im going to do mine just for the heck of it, the way I see it, it cant hurt anything. Ive changed my plugs and wires and my car but my car has always had little rough spot in the idle from time to time, not even hardly noticable most the time. I put some GM brand injector cleaner in it we had a work and I think it helped a little bit, but I think im going to try seafoam.

I've done it on my 96 LT1 in my formula bird. it worked i guess. but mine i did through the brake booster like it said and my car wouldnt stay running so i had to hold it at 2000rpm while my buddy poored it in. and when he poored the last little bit in i let off the throttle and it barely died. Then it dieseled(stay running after key is out and ignition is off). so i dont know what was up with that. but i had a little smoke i guess. my car had never had it done and it has 108,xxx miles on it.

SEAFOAMed my car and it runs smoother. it more for maintances. U know air filter , fuel fiter, and spark plugs etc. It's a need to do job to clean the inside of the engine and the fuel system. It really works

I plan on doing this before I put the headers/Y-pipe/Magnaflow on my car in a few weeks. For what its worth, the car has about 72K on it, and has never been seafoamed. I don't expect miracles, but I think it would be nice to have the internals all cleaned up before I do the installs.
I'm still "on the fence" about doing this on my truck though. At roughly 200K miles, and having never done the seafoam before, I think it may reveal some internal damage (I said "reveal" as opposed to "cause" because I don't think seafoam causes damage, but merely reveals the problems that are already there).
