Do you have an aftermarket Torque Arm?

I would maybe look into getting one that moves the TA off of the Tailshaft.

A good transcooler would benefit your trans.

With a 3600 stall you will want and possibly need some tuning done. As for the rebuild , Well I would allways suggest a beast sunshell and a borg/warner 29 element dual cage sprag. Some updated 3-4 frictions Zpack, ALTO, BORG WARNER etc. Kinda a builders choice there. Perhaps a shift kit like transgo HD2 unless your builder allready has something in mind there.

Default what i need

Well i have the b&m trans cooler, trans go shift kit, and deep sump alum. trans pan, and my guy said he would go through and replace the internal trans parts with good performance parts. I am wondering more on the tuning aspect of this, do i need to send the ecm out some where and if so what do i tell them? Or should i take it to livernois (which is the closest to me) and have them tune it. I plan on doing other things in the future like headers, cam, intake, etc.. that will require tuning and don't want to pay big bucks to have it tuned like 5 times after change all these things at different times. I thank you guys for responding and the advise, please keep it coming on tuning stuff for the torque convertor/trans rebuild and if performa built could let me know of what some of the weakest parts are so i can get thse replaced. Thanks guys.

Take it to Vector Motorsports in Mt.Clemens/Shelby Township. They tune f-body's/gto's/vette's all day long.
