Default fuel filter connections

I am using a '99 'vette fuel filter/regulator which has two inlets and one outlet. One inlet is centered and a smaller tube, and the other is slightly larger and offset. If I blow on the larger offset inlet tube, it blows goes through, but the other inlet doesn't.

Which filter inlet gets hooked up to the pump pressure line? I assume the other inlet goes back to tank.

Default

the side with the single fitting is the outlet side (3/8 outlet) that goes to the rail.
The side with the two fitting holds the inlet (the larger fitting 3/8 ) and the return (the smaller fitting 5/16)

dont know if you should be blowing your filter

Question

The single female end goes to the engine, the 3/8 male is the the "in" and the 5/16 male is the "return" to the tank. Schitzo beat me to the punch while i was typing! And ditto for that "blowing the filter" comment!!!!!

Thanks guys - exactly what I needed to know. And you are all right - should not have mentioned blowing on the filter - no plans to switch teams.
