g5x2 or tr230 on a 114lsa
getting some go fast parts soon for the ride. I love the power both the g5x2 and tr 230 cams make, my only concern is idle, I had a radicle teeth shaking cam in my last vette but want a better mannered idle for this vette. does lg or thunder sell these cams on a 114 lsa?
What will the power band be like? and will it make alot less power?
the car will have a good stg2 head{havent decided on whos but I dont want to start another long this guy vr's that guy post} and a good set of long tubes no cats, ls6 intake, the works. you get the idea
Thanks guys

i've got the tr230. it makes great power (check sig) and idles pretty good (of course this is subjective). i believe with the 114 lsa that it will peak higher. i'm not sure how much but my cam is on a 111 lsa and it peaks at about 6300. both companies will sell the cam on a custom 114 lsa which should help out the idle, but you'll have to rev higher to get all the power out of it.

Thanks KGsloan, I am going to call both sponsors this week and see what they have found with the cams on a 114, I would really like a smoother idle but dont want to sacrifice power. I want every pony I can get

We just tuned an A4 car yesterday with our
G5X-2 cam on a 112 with their own ported heads, and it dynoed 441.5rwhp with the converter locked.
These are numbers that most M6 cars would kill for!
The car had Jet hot/hooker headers, and a full exhaust through the mufflers. No cut out.
I am sure that they will post the full story, with graphs today.
