Default New Caddy Lifters, do I need to change the pushrods?????

So, doing a h/c swap and installing Caddy lifters. I have a set of checker springs installed on #1. Can I use one of the stock lifters that are pumped up to check the pushrod length? I guess my question is, are the cup depths the same on both styles of lifter?
