Want to Polish My Manifold Need Help Hey guys I figured while Im waiting for parts to come in Im gonna go ahead and polish the manifold.
Thing is Is I have no idea where to start.
I have a dye grinder and a dremel. Can I do it with those.
Anybody want to run me through grits or the process they used?
I have some 3M pads for the dye grinder already and they are pretty abrasive so Im thinking when I pull the manifold and run up to work to throw it in the parts washer Im gonna go ahead and give it a once over with the 3m pads to get rid of all the texture and flash.
Im talking about the outside guys.
Oh and I know to seal all all ports and ****. I dont want any aluminum particles in the intake.
Oh and PS I after polishing I will be sealing it all with Zoop seal.
