Im exited cause I just picked up a new ss hood And I wanted to ask what sand paper should I use to get the primer to stick? It has that gray gel coating on it now so I wanted to know. Im going to be painting it black so I would like to know thanks.

400-600 grit if theres no flaws. I used a block be careful around the edges and the raised part.
