PTV Clearence with Different Length Rods
Hi Everyone - I'm fairly inept in the technical and mathematical aspects of internal engine design. Would anybody be able to calculate my PTV clearance with a couple different length pushrods?
I have a '97 Corvette, with a Torquer V2 232/234 .595/.598 114 LSA Camshaft, 243 heads, z06 valves, Patriot Platinum Springs, the heads aren't milled but they were resurfaced, stock pistons & Rotating Assembly, and either 7.4" pushrods or 7.450" pushrods. What would be the difference between those two pushrod lengths?
Let me know if I left out some critical information...
Thanks,
Dan

ptv clearance will have no issue.
as far as pushrod length, the after makrket cams have a smaller base circle, to get an exact number you would need to mesure both stock and teh torquer. but fyi i have a stock 98 heads and block i went with the torquer and i used 7.425
