Default Piston to head clearance

Have any of you guys ever had a problem with the piston to head clearance? Ive got the 2.4cc domed pistons and they seem to hit the bottom of the trickflow heads.

what stroke and length rods? block been decked? heads milled?

Are the pistons installed backwards?

The valve reliefs are to be towards the lifter valley right?

yes but why are you using pop up pistons? That was the fad back in the muscle car era. You should have just milled the TFS heads and used flat tops.
