Default Firehawk rides like a Lumber Wagon!!!

I've got a buddy with an 02 Formula Firehawk and the car rides like a lumber wagon. The suspension is super stiff and bounces the car all over the place. The car is completely stock and I believe it came from SLP with some of there suspension upgrades (springs/shocks). Does anyone have any idea on how we can make the car ride a little better. I was thinking we could swap out the SLP shocks with some revalved bilsteins or some konis.

yeah, I've never heard of them riding that bad. get the koni 4/4 and some strano springs. if he doesn't have any springs in stock then hotchkis is the other springs I'd choose.

The only SLP suspension upgrade was to Bilstein shocks ... which ought help the car ride better, not worse. How many miles are on it? Worn out shocks won't do the job, no matter how good they were new.

What tires is he running? How old are they?

BTW, Konis aren't an automatic solution to a better ride. Beware of that advice ...
