Question about a Stage 2 spec

Question about a Stage 2 spec Car in question has a spec 2 clutch. When you give the car more than 25% throttle, the engine feels like its slipping for a split second then "settles" in. No noise issues and other than that feels fine. Is this normal? This is my first T56 I have driven with an aftermarket clutch so I have no experience in this.
