I've seen pretty much identical one's one ebay and wondered the same thing but not too sure if I want to try them to find out.

well i just ordered 10 of the 3/8" ones. i have a mccaster car one that seems popular here. i find it big and bulky especially after you put the bards on. thats 20 bucks with out the barbs, so ill see where 15 bucks and 10 of them get me! lol.

well, just recieved them. out of the box they are really sturdy, and just about zero cracking pressure! now to get them on the cars to see how they hold up!
