Cam to work with LE2 heads?
I am set on a set of LE2 heads (sending mine to him) and was looking at the description of the cam and would like to know if anyone has found a cam that works well with this head setup. I would like to have something that is making power from 1500-1800 all the way to 5500-5800.
Any suggestions??

A cam that would make power up to 5500-5800 would be quite small in duration as in similar to like the LPE 211/219 or something along those lines. If I were you I would want to utilize the capabilities of those heads and go with one of the cams lloyd offers like the LE1 or LE1.5 cam if you dont want to go with the LE2 cam. I think those cams with the LE2 heads will pull to like 6300-6500 I wanna say feel free to correct me anyone. If your deadset on a cam to stay in your desired rpm range I would go the custom route and have something tailored to work well with those heads and the rpm range you want.

the reason for the question is, my car is a street car mainly. I will hit the track but not regularly. I dont get up in the RPM range of 6k. Mine is an A4 car not an M6 and my shift points are ~58-5900. I want it to start lower because of the street driving I dont want to have to wait to get to 2500+ for the powerband to begin. I ran a 503 in my last motor (stock headed) and loved it. Just kind of beating around ideas right now.
