Does Anybody Have Some Advice
I'M WANT TO REPLACE MY 98 Z28 LS1 W/ A 6.0L IRON BLOCK,BY PEACING IT TOGETHER BARE BLOCK,THEN CRANK,RODS,PISTONS, ECT. but it wont be Balance by a pro engine builder,like buying Rotating Assembly Short Block whole,my question is does most people who have auto shop that does hot rod work CAN THEY BALANCE & BUILD THIS MOTOR? OR SHOULD I BUY THE WHOLE SHORT BLOCK? THE COST IS THE PROBLEM THERE !

Sell your LS1 bare. Use the money and buy a bare 6.0l from a salvage yard. Swap accessories accordingly.
If that's not an option. Yes, you need to have your rotating assembly balanced by a professional before it's installed. Don't half-*** your build. If you can't afford to do this right, you need to save until you can. Otherwise you'll end up spending 2x in the end.
I've been doing this for longer than I'd like to admit, and the one lesson I've learned over the years is, an ounce of prevention equals a pound of cure.
