How did you do it? Buy a new relay or use the factory relay? Maybe just tie into the wires from the factory fans(removed)?

I just plugged my fans directly into the factory fan plugs that way they run just like the factory fans

I used the factory wiring for my two fans. Make sure you wire the fan the right way or it will push towards the front of car, and not through radiator.
I thought maybe 1 of the harness was for ac or something, but both my fans turn on @ 160 which is what i have the ecu set to do. The stock fans draw a decent amount of power as well, and most aftermarket should be fine on the stock wiring.

Bump for last question, I too am in the same predicament and have the car torn apart and don't want to turn on the ignition to test it.

I believe on one plug there is a blue and white and the other is grey and black. I know its those 4 clours I am pretty sure.

Found the right colour coding. Blue is power and grey is ground on the first fan. White is power and black is ground on the second fan. I am going to hook the 2 aftermarket fans up like this. I will also get the fans to turn on earlier with the 160 thermostat.

I already tested the fans to make sure of which one is the pusher and the other the puller. I've heard of people wiring them backwards and overheating the car. I hope she cools enough

If you're going to high power pushers like the Derale 16925's do not use the stock wiring to power the fans, use a relay.

Here is how you can wire the two fans together to run at low and high speed. I wouldn’t use the factory wiring for the fans. They are power hogs. Heavy on the amps disregard the “pin” labels. Use a ground signal to activate the different speeds

Just some info for anyone who's curious, I wired my fans up exactly this and I was a little confused by the description as to how they would operate.
By wiring them this way, both fans come on together and run at a reduced speed (low speed), when the temp increases they both kick up to high speed.
You can definitely hear the difference, I assumed this kept the fans operating separately but it does not, not that I think it matters, just FYI.
My other hope is that this arrangement spreads the amp load out since I experiencing melting relay connectors with a two relay system.
I used 10 ga wire for the fan power and grounds, nice clean chassis grounds and pulled power from the post next to the fuse boxes.
I'm contemplating pulling power direct from the battery though, any input on where to source power?

I used this kit and the plastic connectors that plug into the relays actually melted.
Didn't blow a fuse or start a fire, just noticed my temps were a little hotter than normal and my second fan wasn't kicking on.
Just did the three relay setup mentioned below, hopefully it works better.
