C5 fuel pressure low Pump issue? Filter?
I have a 00 c5 with low fuel pressure. It will not run. When you turn the key on, the pressure reads 20 psi. When you crank it drops to like 12-14 psi and stumbles and wont stay running. It ran fine before my heads cam and intake. I did put a new fuel filter on at that time as well. Could i have installed the filter wrong? It ran fine for a short short period of time but now wont stay running at all. Was wondering if the filter could be the cause or if it seems to be the pump.

Thanks. I will try that. Im guessing it is the pump since the filter is new. just wasnt sure if it was possible to install it wrong or if it wasnt getting grounded properly. Is it part of the regulator?

The filter is new but it has a ground wire it looks like on it. i wasnt sure if this was part of the fuel pressure regualting style on the car. I was wanting more info on the filter. What is this ground for? What does it do? anyone know? Can you install the lines wrong? I just want to make sure i check everything over and know for certain it is the pump before i buy one.
