When you say on the fly....do you mean while driving or just without a laptop?

The unit you have listed works great and is easy to use.

LOL I was thinking between passes IE on the return road while things are still fresh in my mind.

How do the 4 buttons work?

I want to jet for a 150 shot in the NO plate:

Spray 75-100 down low (at wot) and ramp it up to 150 ASAP

Can I adjust the ramp rate too?

you can adjust Start % and ramp time with that controller.

For a non-PC based controller I like this one.

2 stage, window switch, TPS, Activation, Progressive controller.
The progressive controls, delay, start %, and ramp time

Why do you like that one better?

I already have your window/wot switch, could I eliminate it?

yes it would replace the window switch and integrates everything into one box.

Or you could just add the first unit to the system

Am I wrong in thinking I can simply look at the 4 dial controller and adjust anything in 1 second

VS

with the nos I will have to go through all the progaming step by step how long does it take?

Is there any other downside to the 4 dial?

correct

Can you change it while driving? Would you say less than a min or a few mins?
