Hey Chuck,
I am going to run a TCS 3600-3800 built for the bottle, I told them exactly what I was running TH400, Brake,non-lockup, 3.73's, 200-300 Nitrous, 400 RWHP on motor. and thats what they suggested, it is a TH400/Ls1 convertor, email vannessa@ls1-transmission-converter-systems.com and she will hook ya up whoops almost forgot cost was right around 600.00 w/ a 3 year warrenty

Go with a Neil Chance converter. I have one of his 10" bolt together converter for my setup. The converter is used with Turbo 400 with break and setup to handle what ever I can throw at it. Converter was used with a 400hp shot and if I remember correct I paid a little over $1,900.00.

Neal Chance here as well, two piece bolt together 9.5". And Jim, you got screwed because I didn't pay that much, or the prices have come down. Obviously it's an expensive race converter, they also make less expensive versions similar to the TCI and others. I have a 4000 stall with my 382 and it's pretty good all around. Still getting used to it because I'm a M6 convert to the TH400. But it's way cool so far.

Now come on! I'm sensitive when it comes to getting told that I was completely high grossed! LOL.

Derty,

My converter is black weather or not that means anything or possible it is the same as yours but mine has the antiballoning plates steel stator and what ever else setup custome for my setup. I picked it up over a year ago. Possibly Marty came down on his prices? I'm going to dig my reciept out.

Call me at the shop tomorrow. I have tried other convertors with my set-up and the one I have now has shaved off .4 tenths over the others with the same shot.

BTW when my car was jetted for a 125 shot, this convertor put 116 to the tires on our dyno! Talk about efficient That's unheard of through a Turbo 350. Ofcourse now it has a bigger shot
