Default rotary guy who saw the light :)

was a a big time rotard head, till now i have finally seen the light, after riding in my buddies 6.0 swapped grand national with big single i was perty much hooked

this is what i was sporting before.... gt42 REW powerd fc........ quick to say the least, but i want scary fast and reliable

Now look at the happy new home ready for a 4.8/4l60 with a s475 BW single

car will weigh no more than 2600lbs, should be fun to say the least

Half of the engine bay isnt under the damn windshield like on our cars.

its a fairly common swap. I know of a 10th AE that really needs a lsx.

Hello,

Welcome to LS1TECH!

I have been in the same boat as you for way too long!
Welcome to the Dark Side!
I think you will be very happy with your new power plant!

On a side note.
That's a nice Rotary setup!
I see your using Haltech? E6k?

Are you looking to sell the rotary engine, I have a nice 90 Turbo II that has been without an engine since I bought my LS1 and it's in need of a strong replacment engine. May I ask who built it?

Sorry for the

Again, welcome to Ls1tech!

It's a pretty damn bright light. Billions of lumens. Don't look directly at it. You'd have to be rotarded to miss it.

I'd stick something larger than the 4.8 in there personally. You can find really good deals on 6.0l shortblocks on here. I got a LS1 shortblock off this site for $200. You just need to shop around.

yep I wanna do something at least a little different too.

not too worried about needing alot of cubes........ even at 425 wheel with the auto in a 2600lb car that could put it in the vicinity of 10's.....600 would be mid 9's for sure

I was pulling 1.5 60fts with this car on just 7" FWD slicks with the rotary on the stock 7" rear diff...........so it gets out of the hole without much effort

Are you planning on a rear swap I know thw stock LSD you only have a 3.90 or 4.10 might be too much gear for such a light car

Welcome! If I were you, I would at least drop a LS1 in there. You should go to the hybrid forums and talk to some of those guys. Quite a few RX7's w/LS1's in em
