Depends on what your goals for the engine are?

Compstar or Lunati are great.....

I had Scat stuff on my old 383. A little cheaper.

I noticed that Scat is cheaper, but as far as quality goes how are they? I was looking at a Scat forged 3.75 competition crank, scat 6.0 forged h beam rods and JE pistons!?!?

That is a good budget combo

I have made over 600RWHP on my Eagle crank and rods The Scat crank is a great part.

+1 on the eagle stuff. I'm currently running Eagle Forged Stroke kit, with SRP pistons and the Eagle Forged Hbeams as well. Good kit and had it done over 9 years with not one issue to date!

Thanks guys, i think i'm going to go with the Scat combo. As long as they are reliable thats all that counts for me! Then if i end up doing a nitrous setup later on i will probably change everything again!

Cola forged steel stroker crank (3.75); Manley H-beam forged rods (6-inch); JE Forged nitrous pistons (4.060) bore; all in a factory Corvette 4 bolt main block. Compression is ~11.1

That's what I have.

My opinion is that you should just do an LS7. If you've decided on building an LT1, a basic performance stroker kit should be fine.
