Default P0102 on a '96 Chevy Astro.

Have a Problem here that Im not very familiar with.
Have Trouble CODE PO102 which reads "MAF or VAF Circuit LOW Input". The only thing I have Replaced is the MAF Sensor have checked for power and theres power going to the sensor from the harness, also checked connection and has a good contact. Tried to reset the PCM by disconnecting the Battery and the code still comes back, every time I try to erase it with the scanner. The problem persits that at cold starts it sputters and RPMS are Low, and turns off. Ocasionally its starts and misses for a bit then it works fine but the check engine light Stays ON. Drives good but when coming to a stop it dies and might turn ON or as may not. Chevy Astro 2WD 1996 with 270,260 miles on it. My other option would be to replace the PCM and then go from there. Any suggestions?
