Do you think I will hit 400rwhp
My car is the shop now getting a TR224 112lsa cam and ported 243 heads installed. With my mods do any of think I will hit 400rwhp. I know I should make good power through the range. I also know my 12 bolt will eat some rwhp up. I am going to have it dyno tunned aswell. Can't wait to get it back.
Anyone else running this combo.

depending on the port job of the heads....you should be pretty close.
the 12 bolt and ls7 clutch will eat some power...so i'd expect more like 385-390rwhp.
should run hard though

Through my old 10 bolt I made 410rwhp and 395 tq with the same setup, but through this 12 bolt that I have now I would think around 395 or something close to it. Who knows..

also depends on the port job and compression...
and the Trak cam is much bigger than the 224....stock heads or not...
and remember how much heavier the ls7 clutch is...so the power at the wheels is gonna suffer

400 hp
per their website the 224-112 -made 398 h/p 388 trq -with STOCK heads:
This dyno graph is of a 1998 LS1 TransAM with Thunder Racing 224 Camshaft on a 112 LSA with stock cylinder heads. Other mods include FLP Long Tube headers, Whisper Lid, LS6 intake manifold, ported throttle body, ASP Pulley Aluminum Flywheel, and Carbon Fiber Driveshaft.
I would think you'd be higher than that with ported LS6's

I'm real interested to hear your results. Mine are below with a 12 bolt and 4.11's. I still have stock heads too. Be prepared to run DR's as traction is a real problem.

Thanks for all of the info. I will let everyone know my numbers on this set up as soon as I get my car back. I am still waiting on the heads to come in. Good news is the engine is already dropped so as soon as the heads come in they are going on. Hopefully I should have my back the end of next week.
