blms..what are they and how do i adjust?

Default blms..what are they and how do i adjust?

ok guys bear with me i am just getting comfortable with tuning my car but am still in the dark on how do i go about adjusting the blms on my 94 computer. first off can someone explain to me the setup of them and how is the way do adjust them? please be as laman as possible lol

Your BLM is Block Learn Memory (in LSx terms we call this LTFTs). The base line is 128. If the BLM is above 128, the ECM is adding extra fuel beyond that calculated from the base fuel equation. Therefore, the initial Pulse Width is too short and the above 128 BLM makes up for the extra fuel that is required to keep you near 14.7:1 AFR. If your car is MAP, there are two things that you can do in order to reduce the BLM down closer to 128. 1) Lower the fuel injector constant, or 2) increase the MAP value in those Fuel Trim Cells (FTC) where the associated BLM is above 128. Do the opposite if the BLM value is below 128.

Consider yourself "tuned" if the BLM value is between 122 and 134....
