Default NGK TR55 is the 55 the gap?

I keep getting radom misfire code p0300 I have the AC delco iridium spark plugs & expensive taylor wires been in for only 25K miles.

the code appears (chech engine lite) then go'es away. zero preformance loss.

anyway I'm planning a spark plug swap w/ the NGK TR55 is the 55 the gap?

55thousands?

no it isnt the gap, .060 is the gap, but i gapped mine at .055 and it runs great

mine came gapped at 55 out of the box, thats what im running them at also.

They come pre gapped at 55 I think.....

Another TR55 guy here... .55 right out of the box. always helps to check though!

Exactly! Mine were right on. Just be carefull checking them. I eased the gap checker on and it still managed to hang and get stuck between electrobes . No stratches or damage thakfully.

chk ur wires first, i had a set of taylors and that bitch misfired all the time due to them.

Default checking wires

I changed the plugs and am still getting the check engine light.

first day no light thought I fixed it second day dam check engine light comes back then goe's goe's off for a few days.

when I install spark plug wires I make sure they click once one the plug and twice on the coil.



are you suggesting to check the wires with a multimeter?

these are preuiem taylor wires.
