Default e brake

I swapped an lt1 in my 3.4 v6 camaro. I put the rear end in so I would have posi. I did this about 2 years ago. I have never been able to hook up the e brake cable. It seems like its to short. are the cables that come from the handle differant sizes. Or is there a trick to hooking these up.

Your wording isn't exactly clear. Do you have the V6 rear and put a posi in it or the V8 rear? The V6 rear has drum brakes and a completely different ebrake setup. The LT1 brakes are disks and have seperate pads for the ebrake.
