Default Where the hell can i rent or buy a Rear main seal installer tool????

i've called 4 auto parts stores and have had 0 luck... anyone help me out?

I think when I did the RMS on my 350 TPI (which is 1 piece) I just tapped it in evenly with a block of wood or some crap.

Yeah, you don't need a special tool. I just used a rubber mallet to do mine. Even if you are popping it out, just use a screwdriver.

Go to Home Depot and get a 1x6, lay it across and beat the **** out of it. You can use this tool on your front timing cover too when installing cranks and opti seals

i dn us ure not using the correct tool what make it go in unevenly caushing major oil leaks.... and then have to drop the tranny again?

I replaced mine when I did a clutch change for good maintenance. I just tapped it in in circular motion with a small hammer. I think you just want to focus on being even when driving it in.

Pop it out with a Hammer and a Screw Driver..
I put it in using a Hammer tapping it around evenly like mentioned above, after it goes all the way in tap all around it to make sure it's completely flush in the Seal Housing.
